Diplo Confessed That Jack Ü Return “Could Be Next Year”

Yesterday, October 4, the Rolling Stone magazine published an interview with Diplo, in which the producer spoke about his roots in Country music, the phenomenon of Lil Nas X and – most importantly – the possible return of the Jack Ü, which he co-created with Skrillex.

In response to a question asked in the context of the return of the super-duet “Is this something we can see soon?”, the founder of such projects as Major Lazer, LSD or Silk City, answered:

Could be next year. I think Skrillex has a lot of material he’s been gearing to release. When that happens I think we might be able to do some new stuff, but I’ve worked on a lot of ideas for the project. It’s all in due time. There’s not any rush for it or anything.

Let us just remind you that the Jack Ü duo ended their activity in 2016, have produced one studio album Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü and won two Grammy Awards in the categories Best Electronic Album and Best Dance Recording (Where Are U Now ft. Justin Bieber).

Full Diplo’ interview with RS you can read here. At the moment, Skrillex has not made any reference to the producer’s words.
